My Experience of the #RealJuiceReboot Challenge

For those who know me, will know I'm not the healthiest of people. I'm starting to change that, by going on daily runs and trying my very hardest not to eat crisps or chocolate. Although I will have the occasional chocolate bar, I think I'm doing pretty well and even lost a few pounds!  I was lucky enough to be asked by Ketchum if I wanted to take part in the #RealJuiceReboot challenge, in partnership with Joe  Wicks aka The Body Coach. Of course I said yes, as I've always wanted to start juicing! I'm a total juice convert after receiving my Phillips Juicer*, I literally use it every day. The challenge basically involves you making a juice every day for a week, that Joe Wicks himself suggests for you. So, I'm going to show you all these juices now!

1// Monday - Feel Fresh Juice

2 apples
2 celery sticks
1 lemon
1/2 a  cucumber

2// Tuesday - Beetroot Reboot Juice

2 beetroots
1 pear
1 carrot
handful of spinach

3// Wednesday - Green & Ginger

1 cucumber
Handful of Spinach
1 Green Apple
1 Small Head of Broccoli
1cm Piece of Ginger

4// Thursday - Mr Leanie

2 carrots
2 apples
small handful of fresh coriander
handful of kale

5// Friday - Zesty Zinger

1 pear
1 orange
1/2 a fennel bulb
1/2 a lemon

6// Saturday - Cool As A Cucumber

1 cucumber
2 apples
5 mint leaves
1/2  a lime

7// Sunday - Carrot or The Stick

5 celery sticks
2 carrots
1 beetroot
1 pear

I'm going to be honest, not all of these are completely tasty. But I guess they don't have to be eh? My favourites are Beetroot Reboot and Cool as a Cucumber. I'm so glad I have a juicer in my life now, I'm going to be a complete Juice addict!

Have you tried this challenge? What are your favourites?

  2. Love this post! Been thinking about making one a day for a while but I get so frustrated at all the ingredients they usually have. I really like the sound of this one though and the simplistically of the juices. Number 1 & 6 sound yummy and refreshing! Thanks for sharing Bec, I just need to steal Terry's juicer now haha!
