Probs for the past 2 months, I've had gross, dry and ridiculously knotted hair. I've threw my hairbrush at a wall numerous times, made my friends, my mom and my boyfriend de-knot my hair (whilst swearing profusely). Basically, my hair was just getting ridiculous and a hella' lot painful. So, when I was invited to have a hair cut by Rush in the Birmingham store, I immediately said yes and wanted an appointment ASAP!
I had a quick chat with Liam, about what I wanted and what I needed doing. I'm pretty sure he was in shock about the state of my hair, as was his assistant Nareassa. They immediately told me I needed a treatment, and a long term change of shampoo and conditioner! Funnily enough, they guessed what shampoo and conditioner I was using before I could even say it..
After my consultation, Nareassa started de-knotting my hair, bless her soul. It took quite a while, and I imagine her arms were killing her (and I imagine she also wanted to kill me too), but, we got there in the end! After a treatment and a deep condition, the knots were gone and my hair had never felt softer! All 3 of us couldn't believe the transformation of my hair, and I promised to never let it get back in such a bad condition ever again. I think if I did, the Rush team would not be happy with me lolz!
Liam then started to cut my hair, as requested in the picture I showed him (typical me). He did a blady amazing job and I was so impressed. I didn't want that many inches cut off originally, but Liam assured me it was the best thing to do for my damaged hair. He then dried it, and used the straightners to put natural looking waves through my hair. I fell in love! I was so happy to prounce around town with my new hair afterwards.
Before I left, Liam and Nareassa recommended me a new shampoo, conditioner and hair mask from Kerastase. I've never tried the brand before, so I was intrigued to see how it changed my hair. I had full faith in the Rush team, so I knew it would be a good brand! There will be post coming up shortly about my up-keep after my hair appointment, and an honest review on these products (spoiler alert, in true Ron Weasley style, they're bloody brilliant). Thanks to Liam and Nareassa for my lovely experience of Rush Birmingham, and I'll definitely be visiting again!
Have you ever visited Rush Birmingham? Have you ever tried Kerastase? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
