How to Stay Happy, Healthy & Stress Free

Phizz Tablets

Now, before I start, I am by no means a health/stress expert. This is just what works for me! Recently I've hit a bit of a slump. I'm in my final semester for my degree, and although I am on track with my uni work, I can't help but feel about bleugh and stressed about my degree and where my blog is going. Basically, I just can't wait till May 13th hits and I can get into the working world and focus on what I actually want to do! But, for the mean time, I've dealt with my stress and the overwhelming feelings by using these few tips..

1. Plan
I recently stumbled upon a video by Lucy Moon in which she talks about how to stay organised. One of the points mentioned was using your iCalender rather that an actual calender. I have to say since then my brain feels a lot less foggy! I've colour coded it, pink is Uni,  green is social and blue is my daily to do list. Simple yet so blady effective!

2. Take a Phizz tablet*
Oh. my. god.  These tablets are a new find for me, after being sent a packet. I'm obsessed, they make me feel so much more energised and I don't know what I'd do without them. I find they taste just like Berocca if not better! Just whack 2 tablets in a glass each morning and ya done! Check out Phizz's website to find out more!

3. Go for a walk
Even if it's just to Tesco's. Going for a lil' walk helps de-stress and de-clog your lil' brain. It's great exercise and really gives you a fresh head and a bitta' 'me time'.

4. Chill out with some music
The past 2 months Spotify has been my saviour. There's such a diverse range of music, so you're pretty much sorted no matter what mood you find yourself in. Whilst we're on the topic of Spotify, I also stumbled upon this small new artist, Olly Flavell. His new single is one of my faves, and it's very easy listening. Perfect for studying and blog writing!

5. Watch something you love
If I've had a particular down day, all I want to do is curl up on the sofa and watch some easy-watching show on Netflix. Recently I've been watching King Of The Hill, Family Guy and South Park. They're all just so stupid but makes me giggle and forget about my day!

What are your top tips to stay healthy, happy and stress free?

  1. Your de-stressing list sounds a lot like mine - when life gets too hectic, I think it's important to slow down and have some "me" time, before you end up burnt out. For me, it's meant turning down a few social opportunities, but it's gotta be done sometimes.

    1. Yes I agree, I always turn down social activities if I'm starting to feel burnt out!
