If (like me), you're planning a festival this year and you're a beauty/make-up lover (like me). This post is for you. This year is all about the bright colours and expressing yourself with bright colours. I'm a huge fan- bring on the neon and glitter! I must admit, I don't usually use bright colours when applying make-up, I'm much more of a smokey/neutral gal. But for a special occasion like a festival, I'm all up for it! Sleek* have been a favourite of mine for a long time, their products are always high quality and so affordable too. So when they asked me to review their make-up for a festival occassion I couldn't resist!

My favourite of these 3 has got to be the VIP Lipstick in Backstage. I've worn it on nights out and shopping trips and every single time I get a compliment. Its such a 'me' colour and makes my lips the main feature. I also love how moisturising the lipstick is, I have quite dry lips 99% of the time and this lipstick just makes them so soft and glossy looking. It also stays on for a few hours, even after a few glasses of wine!

I feel the Apricot Blooms Matte Me would be perfect with a tan. I'm picturing tanned skin, coral top/bikini and this lipstick and you'll look like a festival babe. I'm quite impressed as it's not as drying as I thought it would be, due to the fact that most Matte Lipsticks are.

Do you have any fave make-up brands/products that would be perfect for a festival feature? I'd love to know!

  1. I've tried their Matte Me lipsticks before and they're pretty decent for the price! I'm intrigued by the VIP Lipstick though - I'll have to keep my eyes out when I'm next in Boots.
